What We Do
Small Angels Foundation provides gifts of up to $7,500 designed to change people's lives. Often, a gift costing a few thousand dollars can make a difference that lasts a lifetime. Our gifts are diverse. For example, we provided orthodonture that returned a smile to a child's face. We bought a bed so children did not have to sleep on the floor. We bought a laptop for an eager, but disadvantaged student to succeed in college. All of these gifts share one thing in common: they were small gifts that significantly improved the trajectory of a person's life.
We provide gifts that will change the trajectory of a person's life for the better.
The Process
How It Works
Apply for a Gift
Small Angels only works with case managers from other charitable organizations. Case managers looking to apply for a gift must fill out our Gift Request Form and explain why the gift is being recommended, the purpose of the gift, and how the gift will change the direction of a person's life. We read every email and reflect carefully on whether a gift fits our mission.
We Review Your Request
Our board will review the request to determine whether it meets the Small Angels criteria or whether other questions must be answered. If the request is approved, Small Angels can fund a gift within days. If the board has questions about the request, we will communicate with the case manager.
Receive Your Gift
Small Angels does not provide cash directly to applicants. Instead, we purchase the gifts from a vendor and deliver the gifts to the applicant or provide funds to the charitable organization referring the applicant, so the organization can purchase the gift.
